Long story short, Arlene decided that she would rather improve organizational performance rather than report on it. Arlene has over 30 years of professional business experience. She spent most of her career serving as the CFO and Controller of businesses in a variety of industries, in addition to running her own outsourcing business. Given her background through good times and bad, she is acutely aware of the challenges of doing business in today’s competitive environment.
Arlene is passionate about working with businesses to reveal their unique path to success. Her objective perspective combined with years of experience and ongoing studies enable her to shed light on hidden assets, reveal cloaked liabilities that sabotage the organization, and identify underutilized relationship capital opportunities.
Advances in neuroscience, neuroeconomics, behavioral economics, social psychology, positive psychology, psychology, and other fields of study like collective intelligence, appreciative inquiry, dynamic capabilities, stakeholder theory, and organizational effectiveness empower today’s organizations to be transformational and maintain a competitive advantage in our fast paced world. Arlene recognizes the powerful impact embracing these new approaches has on long-term success and is determined to bring them to the business community.

The various facets of the design are intended to make the organization more resilient, agile, and essentially “future proof” it so that it can handle whatever the environment (or economy) throws its way.
As a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Treasury Professional, and a Certified Global Management Accountant, Arlene continually completes advanced coursework to remain current on relevant issues and enhance her knowledge base; in addition to reading anything the she thinks might benefit her work in improving organizational performance. She constantly strives to find new ways to enhance the services to and quality of life for her clients.
Having an adventuresome spirit, Arlene has participated in a variety of activities including kayaking, white water rafting, hang gliding, snow skiing, scuba diving, and sky diving. She admits that even though the opportunities are few and far between, she enjoys scuba diving the most!
